AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF BAILEY’S PRAIRIE, TEXAS, MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2014-2; AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THAT VILLAGE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2014, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2015; AND PROVIDING A SEVERANCE CLAUSE AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE VILLAGE OF BAILEY’S PRAIRIE, TEXAS:
- Findings of Fact
The Board of Aldermen of the Village of Bailey’s Prairie, Texas, (“the Village”) find that all procedures, prerequisites, and requirements of law concerning this ordinance and the budget herein have been satisfied.
2. Amendment of Budget
The Board of Aldermen of the Village of Bailey’s Prairie, Texas, hereby adopts the attached budget for the Village for the fiscal year that begins October 1, 2014. The Board of Aldermen hereby finds that any changes from the budget originally proposed by the Mayor to the budget adopted by this ordinance are warranted by the law and are in the best interest of the Village. The budget hereby adopted amends all previous budgets for the same fiscal year.
3. Severance Clause
If any part of this ordinance, of whatever size, is ever declared invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remainder of this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.
4. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
